(including Compound subjects and predicates)
• You will also have to identify if groups of words are sentences,
fragments, run-ons, or comma splices.
• You will also have to identify if a word is a Predicate Adjective,
Predicate Nominative, Direct Object, or Indirect Object

• Each individual should attempt the answer at
your desk.
• The class will then check the correct answer.
For each of the following sentences.
1) Draw a line between the Complete Subject and Complete Predicate.
2) Circle the Simple Subject.
3) Underline the Simple Predicate
