we see in comparison today

– Stability in structures
– Need for workers to conform to an environment
with limited choices
– Educational system has not changed in over
200 years
– Context of business and general life most
strongly influenced on our local environment

What is the ‘Hole in 1’?
• Vision for the Future:
To develop a commercially viable education upgrade to our existing K-12 system. This
upgrade will include:
–
many paradigm shifts supported by:
• integration of the latest technologies
• project management
• change management advances
This will be accomplished by starting with:
– incorporating our existing products and services towards the long term goal
– will use the new upgraded system to:
• have graduating seniors who are:
– grounded in their: family, culture, community , and globally connected
– who know themselves
– are fully capable and confident to approach a situation with the attitude of “I can do this”
– yet with the curiosity and courage to ask “Should I?” fully aware of their determination and
conviction to find the answer
– then to proceed with the appropriate execution of the task facing them to benefit our global
family.
–
–
The “knowing of oneself” must be done so as to enable a child to contemplate the future,
to find their place in it, considering the dynamics of the rate of change currently
happening, we must provide a foundation for them to be successful
We must have a vision to guide us in building a legacy for the Grandparents of tomorrow

Long Term Investment
• 50 to 100 year project Timeframe
– This will be an ongoing transformation project which will initially start with the usual
proof of concept, pilot, phase 1, 2,3, 4 … etc. ultimately reaching a global scale
• Start out small
– Start out with the American Indian community
• Great need due to geographic disbursement issues and culturally context deficient
• They already understand the concept of using a holistic approach to their world so
presenting to them a holistic education upgrade would be more accepted by them
• Successes here would be very dramatic considering existing track record of the past
century’s failures
– Use existing product line to begin penetrating market
– Introduce technologies which can transform the system without really changing the
existing system (convert from a paper system to doing the exact same thing, but on
a computer)
– Gather existing best practices, bundle them together, refine them and then market
them – incorporate Accenture’s wisdom of inculcating core values and inclusion
lessons learned from its global experience
– Show the vision, introduce change in small bits showing how the whole will be
accomplished over time in a systematic and progressive fashion

Community Service?
• To be a viable long term project this must be a for profit
BPO
• Margins may not be the same as typical commercial
accounts, but then there are 17,000+ school districts,
6300+ in/near population centers >100,000, with >70
that have >99 schools in their districts
• By starting out small with a vision for global replication,
the cyclical development incorporating refinements
and innovation will ensure historically noteworthy
relationships
