Want to remove a stipulation that says 1/3 of the money has to
go to abstinence only education
ARVs – 155,000 people in 15 sub-Saharan countries
receiving ARVs in 2004



Now 1.4 million as of September 2007
Additional $30 billion will extend treatment to 2.5 million people
and prevent 12 million new infections
