BECAUSE…

How does WUCWO plan HER response to the problem of
hunger due to the poverty of the people?
Sustainable solutions go beyond doling out food
Doling our food to the hungry is only a temporary
solution

where important decisions are
made both in church and social

SOWING HOPE FOR THE COMMON GOOD NEEDS A
SPIRITUALITY OF HOPE
‘SPIRITUALITY’ IS A SYSTEM OF LIFE

FOR EFFECTIVE ACTION FOR THE COMMON GOOD
SPIRITUALITY OF HOPE  PREFERENTIAL OPTION FOR THE
POOR
MEANING OF THIS ROLE FOR EACH MEMBER OF WUCWO

LONG STRETCH OF HURDLES & CHALLENGES
PRAYER & COMMUNITY SUPPORT

FRAGILE EARTH
SIMPLE LIFESTYLE FOR JPIC

YOUR ROLE IS NEEDED
DISCOVER
GET MUCH CLOSER
BE ATTENTIVE
HOLY SPIRIT will accompany you
Listen to those who need hope and learn from them
You will be CALLED TO SUFFER with those who need hope
Big doses of suffering would produce hope for you
DO NOT TIRE of DOING GOOD—COMMUNITY SUPPORT IS
IMPORTANT
As one LAMP lights another nor grows LESS, so HOPE
ENKINDLES HOPE
 “In every generation the Church holds
high the lamp of this hope before the
world. Today let us ask
 whether our lamps are alit with the oil of
faith, and
 to what extent we live as credible and joyfilled witnesses to our hope in God’s
promises.” (Audience, October 15, 2014)
Beloved:
I remind you, to rekindle the gift of God that is
within you through the laying of my hands…
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a
spirit of power and love and self-control.
Do not be ashamed of testifying to our
Lord…but take your share of suffering for the
gospel in the power of God.
Follow the pattern of the sound words which
you have heard from me, in the faith and love
that are in Jesus Christ;
guard the truth which has been entrusted to
you by the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.
Amen.
Thank you
