MAP:

Business for Social Responsibility (China) Project Goal: To identify and assess patterns in water use and wastewater management in apparel factories in the Guangzhou region of China

MAP:

P&G Prestige Products (USA) Project Goal: Develop marketing initiatives to enhance the growth of the fine fragrance category

MAP:

CARE International (Ghana) Project Goal: Feasibility study for the distribution of clean energy, particularly solar lighting and clean cooking stoves, for the Base of the Pyramid (BoP)

MAP: Detroit Lions at Ford Field (USA) Project Goal: To identify concepts, ideas and strategies to enhance the Detroit Lions ticket sales and customer service

Project Proposal Submission Begins December 14, 2009

 Students select projects

 Team assignments are announced

 MAP Kick-off Events (students only)

  Students may start traveling to sponsor’s site for project orientation Students remain onsite typically from 2 - 5 weeks

April 19, 2010

 All teams are expected to be back in Ann Arbor for presentations to faculty

Sponsor Requirements

Fill out on-line Project Proposal form at www.bus.umich.edu/MAP prior to December 14

Appoint a Project Liaison & Alternate Liaison

Allow Access to Information & Personnel

 

Provide Resources: work area, phone/fax, and copy equipment Communicate travel itinerary to MAP team

Pay Student Project-Related Expenses (airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, ground transportation, etc.)
