Participation Requirements

Have completed 12 units of college courses.
Have completed English 100 or equivalent with a grade of “C” or better.
Have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
Be at least 18 years of age at beginning of program.
Study English and Geography in Paris
All classes transferable to Cal State Universities and Universities of California

Basic Cost for this Study Abroad Program
$8,995 – Twin-Bedded Dorm Room with En Suite Bath, Meal Package, & Daily Cleaning or $7,445 – Twin-Bedded Home Stay Room with Local Family (with Continental Breakfast only) Plus airline taxes, tuition, text books, travel/medical insurance, and class costs.

Basic Fee Includes
■ Airfare: Los Angeles – Paris – Los Angeles ■ Housing: ▪ Shared twin-bedded dorm room with en suite bathroom (with meal plan, including Continental breakfast daily, and five (5) three-course lunches or dinners weekly at the campus-site café), and cleaning daily or ▪ Shared twin-bedded room in home stay with a local family, including Continental breakfast daily with limited access to kitchen in the evening at set times) ■ ■ Travel pass valid for Paris Metro, buses and RER in the central zone.
French Conversation Course by local instructors – two-hours per ■ week (non-credit, non-transferable).

■ Two-Day Orientation by AIFS Staff ■ Half-day sightseeing tour of Paris by private bus with professional English-speaking guide ■ Welcome Reception ■ One-day excursion to Versailles by public transport with reserved entrance to the chateau with professional English speaking guide ■ Weekly program of cultural activities (walking tours, opera, ballet, soccer matches, museum visits)

Three-day and two-night excursion to Normandy and Brittany, including round-trip private transportation, two night accommodation with Continental breakfast, entrance to Mont St Michel, the Peace Memorial in Caen, and guided tour of the D Day Normandy Beaches.
Price: $545 (minimum of 15 persons) Additional costs include, but are not limited to.

Depart Los Angeles: Arrive Paris: March 2, 2012 March 3, 2012 Depart Paris: May 12, 2012 NOTE: Classes will start at the beginning of the spring semester on the Fullerton College campus, and will continue on the same schedule in Paris.

*Insurance premium subject to slight change when fees are published for January 2012 – January 2013.
