Marie did it last biennium) How do we achieve ZIF’s goal? • Club Contributions –2010-12 over 85% of clubs donated 1/3 of their service money to ZIF • Individual Contributions from Zontians and friends of Zonta—14 %of membership made individual donations • Planned Gifts Why do we give? Since 1923, Zontians have given $11 million to help women in 37 countries We know that when we help women, we help the family, the community, and the future Why do we give? Impact of Zonta giving from 1998—2013 (just) to UNICEF programs: • Burkina Faso: 40% decrease in FGM/C • Nepal: Declared free of maternal and neonatal tetanus in 2005 • Afghanistan: 4 million women immunized against new-natal tetanus • Rwanda: First HIV-free generation by 2015 Where are we now? • Internationally as of March 31, 2013 – $1, 261,750.52 – 25.55% of goal • District 15 as of March 31, 2013 – 67 Zontians have contributed individually – 14 clubs – $22,381.53 – $380 in cash and checks last weekend-- + online donations Ways to Give • Cash, check, credit card or wire transfer • Can donate today—have forms or can do online • Recurring Gift • Tribute Gift • Employer Matching Gift • Gift of Stock • Planned Gift Donate online at www.zonta.org!
