between Jan 22nd &Apr 2nd
Groups and their
presentation dates will be
chosen during the first class.
Each student will be in a
group of three to five
students to present on a topic
to their peers.
50-60 minutes:

Lecture/presentation,
interaction & dialogue
Decide on your group (5-6) &
topic choices
FINAL TAKE HOME EXAM: 25%
All course material: readings, lectures, videos
 Short answer and essay style

 Due: 5pm on Thur, April 9th

Critical Thinking Skills


1.5 pages single spaced (750 words) per video (six
pages all together)
Provide a short synopsis of the video
Pick one or two points, or issues, or themes etc that
you want to respond to
Reflect on these points critically and analytically.
Connect to course themes where you can
Avoid: pure description, report style, opinions
without support
Due Thurs, Feb 26th 5pm (beginning of lecture)
