Typical First Year Courses
Full-time status requires 12 - 17 credits. Five courses (15-16) credits each semester are standard for SBS
students.

(3cr) ENT-101 Business Foundations
(4cr) WRI-101 or appropriate placement
Select 2 additional courses (6-8cr):

(3cr) Creativity and Innovation
(3/4cr) Free Elective – First year students may consider an elective for personal interest
*Global Business majors should not choose a Free Elective.
