● Solar panels have crystals in the
panels.
● Those crystals make an electrical
current when light hits it.
● They turn light energy into heat
energy.
● The energy created can be used by
electrical things.
WIND TURBINE
● When the wind blows it makes the
turbine spin.
● When the turbine spins it
generates electricity.
● Once the electricity is made you
then can turn it into heat, or
power.
SOLAR TUBES
● Solar tubes are highly reflective on
the inside.
● The light beams bounce around on
the inside.
● They produce a bright light out the
end of the tube.
● The light beams are concentrated
when they leave the tube.
● Thats why the light is so bright.
GEOTHERMAL HEATING
To use this you have to get a hole dug
into the ground and and have a pipe
placed into it.Once this is done you
then use the temperature from the
earth to help heat and cool your house
ICF BLOCKS
● Styrofoam building block used to
make the structure of the home.
● once there all connected you
pour concrete in the middle.
● doing this it will lower heating and
cooling bills because it act like an
insulator.
● it is very strong and can help to
protect against tornadoes.
