Display Area Audio Control Keys Call appearance ` Buttons Indicate active, incoming, or on-hold calls Volume buttons control handset, speaker, and ring volume. Headset, Mute, and Speaker buttons illuminate when functions are active. Call appearance buttons Scroll Button and Selector pad Indicate active, incoming, or on-hold calls Placing Calls • Dial Extension • Use Directory – Scroll – Filter List Spell out first or last name using dial pad Select Clear Filter to start over • Dial 9 first to place external call Incoming Call • Answer OR • Send to Voice Mail (VM) – Press # Re-dialing and Checking Missed Calls • To view a list of recently dialed, received, and missed calls – Press HISTORY function key. This shows your most recent phone calls. – Use the Scroll Key to scroll a list of calls – Press the round selector button in middle of Scroll Key Transferring Calls • Press Transfer Function Key. This places the caller on hold immediately. • Dial the number OR use the directory – Blind Transfer Hang Up or Press Transfer again – Consultative Transfer – Preferred Method Stay on the line and wait for number to dial When receiving party, answers, press Complete Transfer Conferencing Calls • Press Conference Function Key to start – this puts the first party on hold – Blind Conference Conference Phone Number Conference – Consultative Conference Conference Phone Number Remain on the line and wait for the next person to answer. If ready to begin conference, press Complete Conference Voice Mail Initial Set-Up • Password: 1234 • When prompted, change password • Record Name: – First and last Voice Mail To Check Voice Mail: • From your phone: – Press the Voice Mail function key • From any internal phone: – Press the Voice Mail Function key.
