• Ordinal numbers are placed before nouns

• But remember: regular adjectives are
AFTER

–Yo quiero la camisa bonita.
Irregularities with primero and tercero
• When placed before a masculine singular
noun, drop the “o” in primero or tercero
–Enero es el primer mes del año.
–Marzo es el tercer mes del año.
