• Total college enrollment: 1,178 • Resident students: 66% • Commuters: about 320 students • Parking spots available to students: about 150 160 spots

Neighborhood Dilemma

• Ravenswood residents are complaining about the cars covering their neighborhood.

• Parking limits are now being enforced around the area • Medical College students take up a lot of the parking available

Shuttle Service

• Free park & ride for faculty, staff, and students in partnership with the Medical College • Runs from 6 – 8:30 a.m. and 3 – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday • 15 minute intervals

• Increase by 50 students per year-Dean Miller • 25% of campus is commuters (300) • 12.5 more commuters each year • Expanded parking is needed • According to indiananewscenter.com, "Students are staying closer to home, not having to spend money on housing” • 1000 student increase = $24 million • Affordable & necessary expense

• Students unhappy • 29.11% of commuters questions said parking is almost impossible • 73.81% said difficult to find a parking spot • Faculty unhappy • students take spots in REX & Circle • Safer • Enrollment increase
