I would like to welcome everyone back to school after the lovely summer holiday. We are all looking forward to a new term and plan to build upon our successful OFSTED report. I am pleased to report that our pupil numbers continue to increase, we currently have 32 attending our school.

WELCOME

At the start of our new academic year we are very pleased to welcome Theo Reilly, Alfie Garnett, Will Rear, Macie Elliot, Skye Johnson and Alex Bisset who have all started in reception. We are also pleased to welcome Kieran Carruthers into Y4. We wish them happiness and success at our school.

NOTES FOR PARENTS

With this newsletter you will receive our Notes for Parents booklet. Please keep in a safe place for future reference.

With this newsletter you will receive a plan of the topics we will be studying this term.

MILK MONEY

Milk money for this half term is: £5.00, except reception children who receive free school milk.

DINNER MONEY

£2.40 per day, £12.00 per week.

Please make cheques payable to: Cumbria County Council

READING FOLDER

Please remember to bring Reading Folders into school everyday.

Class 1

GAMES AND PE

(Reception, Y1, Y2) Monday and Tuesday Class 2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6) Thursday Children should bring the following items: Class 1 Class 2 a T shirt, shorts, suitable footwear (gym shoes or trainers) Warm jumper, track suit bottoms during cold weather.

As the field may be wet all children MUST have a change of socks and shoes for Outdoor games.

In the interest of hygiene, PE trainers should not be the same as school shoes and children should not wear jewellery during Game and PE lessons.

SWIMMING

During the Autumn Term we have swimming lessons. Full details will be confirmed once final arrangements are made.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Please note After School Clubs will commence on Monday 17 th details in next week’s newsletter.
