From the beginning
 John 1:1-4
 In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was
God. He was in the beginning with God. All
things came into being through Him, and
apart from Him nothing came into being
that has come into being. In Him was life,
and the life was the Light of men.
 John 1:5-9
 The Light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it. There
came a man sent from God, whose name
was John. He came as a witness, to testify
about the Light, so that all might believe
through him. He was not the Light, but he
came to testify about the Light. There was
the true Light which, coming into the world,
enlightens every man.
 John 1:10-14
 He was in the world, and the world was made
through Him, and the world did not know Him.
He came to His own, and those who were His
own did not receive Him. But as many as
received Him, to them He gave the right to
become children of God, even to those who
believe in His name, who were born, not of
blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will
of man, but of God. And the Word became
flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His
glory, glory as of the only begotten from the
Father, full of grace and truth.
 John 1:15-17
 John testified about Him and cried out,
saying, "This was He of whom I said, `He
who comes after me has a higher rank
than I, for He existed before me.'" For of
His fullness we have all received, and
grace upon grace. For the Law was given
through Moses; grace and truth were
realized through Jesus Christ.

 Genesis 2:7
 Then the LORD God formed man
of dust from the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a
living being.
 The very breath of God
is that which gives life
John 4:41 Many more believed because of His word;
John 5:38 "You do not have His word abiding in you, for
you do not believe Him whom He sent.
John 8:55 and you have not come to know Him, but I
know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a
liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word.
Rom 9:28 FOR THE LORD WILL EXECUTE HIS WORD ON THE
EARTH, THOROUGHLY AND QUICKLY."
Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact
representation of His nature, and upholds all things by
the word of His power.
Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and
His name is called The Word of God.
 Ps 33:6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were
made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
 Ps 103:20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in
strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His
word!
 Ps 107:19-20 Then they cried out to the LORD in their
trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His
word and healed them, And delivered them from their
destructions.
 Deut 30:14 "But the word is very near you, in your mouth
and in your heart, that you may observe it.
 Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR
YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART“ that is,
the word of faith which we are preaching,
 Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by
the word of Christ.

 John 14:6
 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the
truth, and the life; no one comes to the
Father but through Me.
The other life essential
LIGHT
Matt 4:16 "THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SITTING IN DARKNESS SAW A GREAT
LIGHT, AND THOSE WHO WERE SITTING IN THE LAND AND SHADOW OF
DEATH, UPON THEM A LIGHT DAWNED.“
John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
John 1:9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens
every man.
John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the
world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light
of life."
John 9:5 "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world."
Eph 5:8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord;
walk as children of Light
The gift He freely gives to us……
His presence always with us.
Word – powerful and directing
Life – breathed intimately, unfailing
Light – leads us from darkness
All these are eternal
WHAT A GIFT!
Matt 1:23 "BEHOLD, THE
VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH
CHILD AND SHALL BEAR
A SON, AND THEY SHALL
CALL HIS NAME
IMMANUEL," which
translated means,
"GOD WITH US."
