Transcript In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
But the earth had no shape. It was empty, covered with
only darkness and water.
Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water
and God said, ‘Let there be light.’
Then God divided the light from the darkness and He
called the light the daytime and the darkness He called
night time. This was the first day.
God divided the waters below from the waters above to
make the sky and the sea. This was the second day.
After this God said, "Let the water under the
heaven be gathered together in one place,
and let the dry land appear," and it happened.
On the third day God said, "Let the earth produce
grass, and plants, and fruit trees," and it happened; And
God saw that it was good.
On the fourth day God made two great lights;
the sun to rule by day
and the moon to rule by night. He also
made the stars.
On the fifth day God made the whales and fish
and the birds.
On the sixth day God made all of the animals
and insects. God saw that it was good.
On the sixth day God also created Adam and
Eve.
On the last day, the seventh day God rested
and saw that all He had created was good.
