What is a mentoring ?

Initially Mentoring Steps
At the first meeting –
Sit with the new member.
Orient the new member to club
customs and procedures.
Explain how to sign up.
Help with the C1 – C3 speeches.

Next, Mentoring Steps
At the following meetings -
Make mentees aware of Club resources
Provide positive evaluations
Help with speeches and other
assignments
Explain responsibilities

Later, Mentor should -
Tell how you have benefited.
Invite the mentee to other events.
Acknowledge progress.
Explain officers’ duties.
Explain speech contests.
Describe the Toastmasters organization.
