• Held to ensure adequacy of the requirements
stated in the Software Requirements Specification
(SRS) and the Interface Requirements
Specifications (IRSs).
• Normally, the SSR shall be held prior to start of
Configuration Item (CI) preliminary design.
• Its purpose is to establish the allocated software
baseline
