• Majority of IFE suppliers have released seat component and wiring
installation guidelines to support the seat suppliers or airlines installing

• Some IFE suppliers have completed a world tour visiting most seat
suppliers presenting them with the new documents and having working
together meetings

• Supported Airbus in the release of a Seat Interface Specification for
Electrical Integration of In-Seat Systems

• Continue to work with Boeing to standardize their Cabin Systems and

As seen, the Industry (OEM’s, IFE/Seat Suppliers & Standards
Committee) has taken the initiative and has made tremendous efforts in
improving Seat/IFE Integration in the past year
•
If “we” continue with the same level of effort put forth this year, we will
no doubt see continuous improvements
