Mirasys Texecom Connector
Mirasys Video Management System has been integrated with the
Texecom Alarm Panel.
Mirasys VMS supports Texecom Alarm Panel through
configurable text data channel (Universal Data Driver, a.k.a.
UDD).
The integration is based on ContactID messaging over the
TCP/IP protocol.
The communication is 1-way from the panel to the VMS.
Texecom panel has to support ComIP protocol.
Integration is provided using a selected set of events, but if more
extensive integration is needed, enhancements can be easily
done through text channel (UDD) configuration modifications.

Mirasys Texecom Connector - Features
The Texecom Alarm Panel integration enables the following alarm types
by default:
Burglary alarm in a zone – A specific sensor reports a burglary
alarm
Burglary alarm in an area – Reporting an area wide burglary
alarm
Audible burglary alarm in a zone – A user presses a panic button,
causing sirens to be activated
Exit delay fault alarm in a zone – A user causes an alarm by
exiting a closed area too slowly
Opening area – An operator opens an area, either from keypad or
remotely (two different events)
Closing an area – An operator closes an area either from keypad
or remotely (two different events).

Mirasys Texecom Connector – Use Case
Event messages the alarm panel is sending can be used to trigger
Mirasys VMS alarm action.
Alarms are configured like any VMS alarm using System Manager,
Alarm action(s) can be any of the below or a combination
Opening camera(s) in pop-up window and start recording
video/audio,
Turn PTZ camera(s) or start tour,
Send email to selected recipient(s),
Trigger digital I/O output,
Like any VMS alarm, also Texecom initiated alarms are logged into the
alarm database and can be reported later using Mirasys Reporting Tool.
