Mirasys VMS Paxton Net2 Integration
Mirasys Video Management System has been integrated with the
Paxton Net2 Access Control system.
Mirasys VMS can capture Net2 event messages through
configurable text data channel (Universal Data Driver, a.k.a
UDD).
The integration is based on Net2 SDK used in Mirasys Paxton
Proxy service.
The communication is 1-way from Net2 to the VMS.
Integration is provided using all the event types.

Mirasys VMS Paxton Net2 Integration - Features
The integration supports 140 event types in total, here only couple of
examples:
Card Swiped – User has used the access card reader.
Access Denied Invalid Card – User tried to use invalid card.
Door Forced – Someone has force opened the door.
Door Left Open – Someone has left the door open.
Intruder alarm – Server is reporting intruder alarm.
Tamper alarm – Server is reporting tampering.
Fire alarm Input – Server is reporting fire alarm.
Access Denied – User has no access right.

Mirasys VMS Paxton Net2 Integration – Use Case
Event messages from Net2 server can be used to trigger Mirasys VMS
alarm action.
Alarms are configured like any VMS alarm using System Manager,
Alarm action(s) can be any of the below or a combination
Opening camera(s) in pop-up window and start recording
video/audio,
Turn PTZ camera(s) or start tour,
Send email to selected recipient(s),
Trigger digital I/O output,
Like any VMS alarm, also detector initiated alarms are logged into the
alarm database and can be reported later using Mirasys Reporting Tool.
