Order Inquiry and Change Order eCommerce Enhancements
An Overview to eCommerce Enhancements

My Account
• This application can be accessed at www.te.com by selecting Check
Order Status from the “My Account” menu.
Getting Started
• Clicking on the Check Order Status hyperlink will direct you to the
application where you will first be required to enter your account
number. Once an account has been entered you can enter your
criteria in the Search By section.
• Once your desired criteria is entered or selected, click Search.
Search Results
• Order results will populate based on the search criteria entered.
• Use the available options to sort or filter your results. You can also add notes to
your order by clicking the Add Note link on the right side of the screen under the
Order Notes Column.
• To view additional order and item related data, click on the hyperlink Purchase
Order Number or TE Order Number to access Order Details.
Order Details - Navigation
• The Order Details screen will display information associated with the
order at a Header, Item, and Schedule level.
• Use the navigation tools provided to locate specific information on the
order:

Hide Details
•
Expand/Collapse to display additional item details
• Hyperlinks are displayed throughout the Order Details screen that
provide additional information on hover or when clicking the link.

Item Details
• Schedule Details
– Displays Customer Request Dates, Confirmed Dates, Schedule Quantities,
Recommits, Expedite Information.
• Shipping Information: Displays shipping details and tracking information
once a delivery has been created. This includes documentation such as
Shipping Papers, C of C’s, etc that are available under the “View” option.
• Part Details
– Displays MOQ, Minimum Release Quantity, Dimensions, Weight, etc
• Item History
– Displays changes to Schedule dates, Quantities, Pricing, etc
• Documents
– Displays Order, Change Order Acknowledgements, etc
Change Order Access
If your system administrator has granted you access to the Change
Order capabilities and the item you want to change is open for edits,
you will see the
button.
By clicking on the Edit button this will direct you to the Change Order
screen where you will be able to make two kinds of edits:
– Change a Request Date
– Attach a Document for TE Review
Change Order: Change a Request Date
• To update the Request Date, click inside the date field and select the
appropriate date from the calendar. When satisfied with the date, click
Save. The status of your change request will then display a message
to confirm if the transaction was successful.
Change Order: Attach a Document for TE Review
• Attaching documents within Change Order is possible by clicking on
the “Attach Documents” hyperlinks. These links are available at both
the order Header and Item levels.
Change Order: Attach a Document for TE Review
• After clicking on the hyperlink, review the document formats that are
allowed. Up to 5MB worth of documents can be uploaded. Select your
file by clicking the Browse button then click Submit. A confirmation
message will be displayed below your file if the upload was
successful.
Start New Search
• From the Order Details screen you can view another order’s details
without returning to the Check Order Status Search screen by clicking
on the “Start New Search within Check Order Status” link.
• This will bring up a search box that allows you to enter new search
criteria and will refresh the Order Details screen with the results.
