Designer brief
• Design brief:
We have been asked to created and design a 3D model
which is to represent a space for living or recreational
purpose in response to the needs of a designated client.
We have been told to research the place and get as much
information as possible to be able to create a living place.
Client profile
• After completing my survey with my client, 20 years old
who is planning to live with another house mate and two
dogs, I have been able to fine out her likes and want for
her living environment. It’s been noted that is interested
in primary colours, which create a vibrancy and life to her
room. This means that I will research colours like, reds,
blues, greens, yellows, pinks and purples. is interested in
the retro, modern, club-party style, and fashion but at the
same time she dose enjoy reading which means I will need
to create a space which can deliver an eye catching feel
and also relax able. She like natural light so big windows
would be essential and also at night bright vibrant
lighting. I will need to create this in a budget of $30,000.

After our final result with the colour scheme and trend we have
come up with a final design. This design is stylish, retro, and a
relaxed environment which can be changed into a entertain area.
With primary colours, stylish retro furniture. also the raised surface
covered with a furry carpet reminding us of the days of the 1960”s.
wooden floor boards on the bottom surface. Large windows create
natural light, but a feature light in the entrances way creates a nice
mood at night and also the feature lights beside the TV. But if my
client doses not want this there will be halogen spot lights placed
around the factory apartment, to give enough lighting if need be.
