Currently, the current date defaults and when Go is clicked, it
opens in a new window now.
In the new page, a date must be entered or selected and the Run Report
button is clicked. The report will open within this same window. (So don’t
close it or you will logout of e-Business. This is a case where you need to
use the browser back arrow button.)

another window.

For Supervisor’s and those with HR Organization Mgr
Self Service responsibilities, the navigation to the
Leave Balances report has changed.
The navigation is now under the Manager Actions
menu item, not the UNI Manager Actions menu item.
Currently, the UNI Manager Actions page has both Timecard
List and Leave Balances on the page.
In the new page, only Timecard List is
available.
Notifications for Timecard Approvals will now include
an HTML version of the timecard directly in the
notification.
The link to a PDF version of the report will no longer
be available.

UNI Print Selected Requisitions with Detail report –
this replaced the two existing reports.
UNI e-Business Release 12 Timeline
This year's upgrade to the E-Business Suite is the largest
since the original implementation of the system in 2001.
Since the upgrade is so large, it will take place over two
different time frames.
First outage was: Friday, October 28th at 5:00pm
thru Monday, October 31st at 7:00am
Second outage start time: Friday, November 4th at 5:00pm
Second outage end time: Tuesday, November 8th at 7:00am
(system will not be available on Monday)
The UNI e-Business System and the services listed below
will not be available during the outage:

Personal Information
W-4 Form Employee Withholding Allowances
Payslip
Timecard
Leave Balances
View Benefits
Fringe Benefit Statement
July 1 Budgeted Salary
Employee W-2
Extra Information
My Universe Self Service (Portal)
Non-Payroll Direct Deposit (end user and admin)
Budget Adjustment
ITS Absence Request Form
Personnel Action Form (PAF)
Salary Worksheets

Reporting Availability
From November 7th through November 14th, a static copy of
the Webfocus reports will be available.
Beginning the night of November 15th, all Webfocus reports
will be available and the data will be refreshed nightly as it is
currently.
Discoverer reports will not be available until Tuesday,
November 15th.
Timecards – e-Business Outage
Due to the e-Business outage scheduled from Friday, November 4, 5
p.m. – Tuesday, November 8, 7 a.m., Payroll recommends timecards
be submitted and approved by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 4, where
possible. All student and hourly staff timecards should be submitted
and approved by Thursday, November 10 at 10 a.m. to be processed
for student payday on Wednesday, November 16 and the November
30 payday for faculty and staff. Payroll encourages employees and
supervisors to coordinate timecard submission to avoid time outs on
Tuesday, November 8 and Wednesday, November 9. Time out
schedules can be viewed at the following link:
