Background
Few Facts


International
 The
regionalization and globalization of
commerce, capital, communications and
immigration
have
profound
political
implications. Nation-states are losing much of
their traditional power to control what
happens within their borders. That has both
desirable and undesirable effects.
India

India is home to the highest number of undernourished people in the world, and one-third of the
world’s under-weight children.
Public spending on
Health in India as a %of GDP is less than in countries
like Sri Lanka and Sierra Leone.
Currently India
spends close to 3% of its GDP on Education and less
than 1% of its GDP on Health.

Development Index out of 177 countries
The task of development became overwhelmingly
challenging on the part of the Government.
Citizens grew poor and poorer with alarming
scarcity of goods and lack of sufficient provision

All India Human Rights Association
(AIHRA),
is
a
registered
Society
registered under the Societies Registration
Act XXI of 1860, Asia’s first Registered
Human Rights NGO affiliated to DPI/NGO
of United Nations, Registered under RNI,
DAVP, FCRA, and 80G(5)vi of Income Tax
Act. In its sojourn over 22 long years,
AIHRA
has
translated
its
avowed
objectives at the grassroot level through
camps,
conferences,
seminars,
conventions, cultural programmes, family
courts and free legal services to the
underprivileged.
