Explanation:
spend, take, pay 与 cost 都有 “花费” 的意思，但在用
法上有所不同。
• 1）spend 的主语必须是表示人的名词或代词，常用于
spend some time / money on sth。 如:
I spent 10 yuan on the pen . 我花了10元钱买这支钢笔。
• 2）take 通常用于 It takes sb some time to do sth. 句型,
意为 “某人花费多少时间做某事”。It 是形式主语，后
面的动词不定式是真实主语。此句型常常和 spend some
time (in) doing sth进行转换。如:
It takes me only ten minutes to walk from my home to the
school. 从我家走到学校只需要10分钟。＝ I spend only
ten minutes (in) walking from my home to the school.
• 3) pay 的基本意思是 “支付”, 主语是表示
人的名词或代词, 通常用于 sb pay some
money for sth 这一结构中。例如:
She paid fifty yuan for the coat. 她花了五十
元钱买这件外衣。
• 4) cost 的意思是 "值(多少)钱; 它的主语为物。
例如:
The house cost me $100, 000. 我花了10万美
元买这幢房子。

too 用于肯定句句末，通常用逗号隔开； also
用于句子中间；

well 通常置于句末作状语，前面不用逗号。
