• Ejection due to profanity
1. Student-athlete used profanity after striking out
2. After striking out, student-athlete walked over to my face, plate
umpire, and said “……………….”.
• Ejection due to “fighting”
1. Student-athlete was tangled up with player after the play and
took a swing at him
2. After the whistle had blown, while on top of the player he just
tackled, the student-athlete ripped of the player’s helmet and
punched him in the face 3 times

• Follow up from our office in most cases
• Reduction of penalty

• Incident not as severe as deemed by our office (video evidence)
• Remember, our office has the ability to review video at slow speeds to
see the incident. Officials have to react at full speed and only get one
viewing.
