Site Survey for Air Synchronization SIP-CSs have ability of site survey to check radio signal strength.

By the LED on SIP-CS, you can check the radio signal 1. Set Temporally master CS for site survey as planned - Power on CS with pressing rest SW . - Release Reset switch while LED flashes (Green/Red/Amber) - Press Rest Switch one second once again (Green and Red LED start flashing) 2. Turn on Power of slave CS and locate it, then check LED on CS.

3. Move Slave until LED on Slave CS goes green See Appendix in more detail

3. Air Synchronization

Air Synchronization To activate Handover through CS, all CS must be synchronized.

CSs are synchronized by using “Air Synchronization” for same air Sync. group After CS synchronized with other CS, Handover is available.

3. Air Synchronization

CS Coverage Area for Air Synchronization between CSs C B A Gray Zone: Conversation will be intermittent C You must not install SIP-CS without site survey.

A Coverage Area: Radio signal strength level is between “03” (about 50m to 60m) and “14” (about 20m to 30m).

B Good Coverage Area: Radio signal strength level is between “05” (about 40m to 50m) and “14” (about 20m to 30m).

Good synchronisation quality can be maintained.

C Out of Service: 0m to 3m or the radio signal strength level is “00 to 02”.

Cannot be synchronized.

4.2. CS Radio Zone setting

Step0: Initialize CS for Before Registration Before CS/PS registration, following process must be done 1. Depress RESET Switch while CS is power on

Step0: Initialize CS by CS-Web You can initialize CS by CS-Web interface CS-Web LOGIN CS Default Web Address (192.168.0.241) For CS and PS registration, need to set up Super Master CS 1) Open CS-Web (See previous page) 2) Access CS-Web (Default Web address is 192.168.0.241) 3) Go to Maintenance menu then proceed Factory Reset 4) Then CS will be initialized and LED on CS will start RED blinking Note: *1 To enable CS-Web function, need to proceed power on with reset SW (See Page 28) Login/Password : For Installer instoperatoruserid/instpass, For Customer admin/adminpass

CS will enter site survey mode automatically when receives signal from Master CS 2. How to Return Normal Mode from Survey mode Either press Reset SW more than 10 sec, or Power Off CS then Power on CS with pressing Rest SW then change to Fix IP mode then restart CS

4. 3 Firmware Update

Step1:Update firmware by CS-Web You can perform the firmware update manually using CS Web programming. After the firmware is uploaded to the Super Master CS, the Super Master CS distributes the firmware to all other SIP-CSs automatically.

Step2: Set up Terminal Type Set up CS or PS type of Telephone type in Port Property as Master CS/SIP-CS or S-PS Click [Set-up] - [1.Configlation] - [1. Slot] – [Select Target V-UTEXT32] – [Port property] Note: 1. Telephone Type Setting is Master CS: Super master CS which is Master CS of Air Sync Group #1 SIP-CS : Master CS of Air Sync Group 2 to 8 and or all slave CS S-PS : PS 2. Only one Master CS can be set per one Unit 3. Do not need to set UP SIP-CS if customer does not need to set up PS-Ringing (ICD-Group Function)

Enter Name of CS and Extension number Click [Set-up] - [1.Configlation] - [1. Slot] – [Select Target V-UTEXT32] – [Port property] Note: 1. For PS registration, need to assign Super Master CS in Virtual UT extension card But, It will not need AK (Capacity of UT-Extension) for Master CS but need AK for PS

Step5: Set up Master CS CS-Web LOGIN Super Master CS Default Web Address (192.168.0.241) For CS and PS registration, need to set up Super Master CS 1) Login CS-Web (192.168.0.241 as a default) In default setting, CS-Web site is set as 192.168.0.241

2) Set up own IP Address In default setting, CS is defined as DHCP mode. If no DHCP server, need to set up own IP address. Master CS 3) Set CS mode as Mater CS mode as Master CS . After IP Address, CS will restart automatically. Better select Static mode on In default, CS mode is set as Slave CS, so need to set CS After set Master CS, CS will restart automatically Note: *1 To enable CS-Web function, need to proceed power on with reset SW (See Page 28) Login/Password : For Installer instoperatoruserid/instpass, For Customer admin/adminpass

4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000

Step6: Set up System information URL (in Master CS) In order to download configuration file from NS1000, URL information of Super Master CS for getting the file in NS1000 has to be set by CS-Web.

1) Set following URL into System File URL http://192.168.0.101:7580/utdownload/System.cfg

NS1000 IP address Port # Then, Click All Save.

After set up URL, CS will restart automatically.

Note: At this point, configuration data is downloaded into Super Master CS and registrated to NS1000 automatically even if registration mode is [manual] mode in NS1000

Do not enter any other field

4. 4 Set up CS/PS and NS1000

Step7: PS Registration CS-Web LOGIN Regist Super Master CS PS PS has to be registered into Super Master CS by CS-Web as follows: 1) Login CS-Web 2) Select menu of PS Registration.

3) Click Start PS Registration.

4) Select Available PS and move to Selected PS by “>” button.

5) Click Next.

6) Set PS to registration mode and register that to neighbor CS.

*registration mode = push button on PS.

Note: 1. Extension Number is downloaded from NS 1000 automatically, and also when change PS extension number by Web-MC of NS1000, the modification data is also down loaded automatically 2. After regist PS to CS, CS-Web will be closed. After Close CS-Web, can open Web Port by PS setting

Caution: Firmware up process may execute after complete PS registration, during this process you can not de-registration and also do not power down PS , until complete Firmware version up.

When change any Air setting value, the CS will be restarted automatically

Step10: Set up Slave/Master CS to NS1000 (For Ring group) CS-Web LOGIN Regist Super Master CS Slave CS When user want to use PS-RING group by NS1000 ICD Group function , Must regist Master CS and Slave CS to NS 1000 as follow 1) Set UP Telephone Type as SIP-CS and Extension Number in Web-MC 2) Set up Extension number of Master CS/Slave CS in CS-Web as same as NS1000 Data 3) Set up Password (1234 as default) in CS-Web WEB-MC UT-EXT32 Port property

4.5 Phone book registration

Download System Speed Dial data to PS Phone Book When System Speed dial of NS1000 is modified, NS1000 will download System Speed dial data to Super Master CS.

Download Master CS will deliver Data to PS /Other Master CS as Phone book data, after complete download.

The total number of downloaded data is defined by [Site-Property] Note: 1. It will take around 40second to deliver Phone book Data. which is same setting for UT. Default is 300 *1 2. PS will show [Downloading PhoneBook ] as download mode as download mode.

3. Download will start when either [Apply] or [OK] ICON is clicked 4. Can not set Tennant group for PS, so basic Speed dial data is shared by all PS *1: It will take around 5 minutes to complete Phonebook transfer as MAX(256 PS is in One Cell Station) Deliver

Assign CS extension number Extension numbers must be assigned to all CSs in the same way of UT series SIP phones - Setup- PBX Configuration 1.1 Slot - Virtual V-UTEXT Port Property 2. Set ICD group Extension number of CSs to cover area for PS ringing need to be set in a ICD group as the member. - Setup-PBX Configuration 3.5.1 ICD Group Setting Set CS number as ICD-G member Note: About CS registration into NS1000 No operation is required for registration into NS1000 like as PS.

Registration will be completed automatically when match CS extension number and password on CS with the number on NS1000

PS Ring Group #3 (How to Set up) 3. Set CS extension number by CS-web Each CS must assign their extension number for PS ring group. Installer needs to log-in into each CS for this setting.

3-1. How to access to each CS Each CS can be logged in from CS-web of Super master CS as follows: 1) Select menu of CS Management.

2) Click Remote Login button for CS that you want to log-in. 3-2. Set extension number in each CS Following items need to be set in each CS when login to CS.

1) Select menu of SIP Settings - CS.

2) Set CS’s extension number into phone number 3) Set Authentication ID (CS’s extension number) 4) Set Authentication Password (“1234”) than, Click Save.
