SIP Based DECT-CS (Slave CS) An CS configured as Slave CS will receive timing and synchronisation from CS set to Master CS. 55 Air Synchronization Condition of Air Synchronization SIP Based DECT-CS Classification CSs are assigned to any one of the following three classifications for Implementing air synchronization. CS Class Description Master CS1 (synchronization source clock) Generates clock signal. Master CS2 (backup for Master CS1) - Receives clock signal from Master CS1 - Can also generate clock signal if Master CS1 malfunctions. Slave CS Receives clock signal from other CSs. Master CS1 Slave CS Level 1 Slave CS Slave CS Level 2 Level 3 Slave CS Level 4 Level 1 Master CS2 It is recommended that the number of levels in the synchronisation hierarchy is minimized for stable air synchronisation. The maximum number of levels is 4. 56 IP-CS Air Synchronization Condition of Air Synchronization Onelook Network Slave CS registered to Slave Unit can NOT Air synchronize with Master CS registered to Master Unit, so it is necessary to install additional Master CS to Slave Unit.
