Entry requirements
1. GCSE A* - C in English, Mathematics and
Science
2. Recent study at level 3: CDD at A level or 200
UCAS tariff points; Access, BTEC, AVCE, and
NVQ 3 qualifications are also accepted
3. Widening Participation (WP) Criteria
Widening Participation Criteria
Priority is given to applicants who live permanently in the
UK and who meet at least two of the following:
• permanent address is in a neighbourhood with low
progression to higher education
• attended a school which achieved less than the national
average of 5 A*-C passes at GCSE
• grew up in public care
• residual income of household is less than £25,000
• first member of immediate family (excluding older brothers
or sisters or your own children) to achieve a degree
• studies have been adversely affected by circumstances in
personal, social or domestic life
