LEADERSHIP
Since 2010 all the specialty curricula plus foundation, have included
leadership competencies based on the Medical Leadership
Competency Framework
KSS Deanery is very keen to help you develop these competencies as
they have been shown to be crucial to maintaining and improving
patient care and safety.
There is an expectation that your supervisors will enable you to
undertake supervised learning opportunities in clinical leadership
We would expect you to submit each year a workplace based
assessment which demonstrates you have been given constructive
feedback on your leadership competencies. Upload this to your
personal library. ARCP requirement.
