Title I Parent Meeting

EL Rincon Mission
• To provide an environment that prepares students to
develop necessary skills to be successful in tomorrow’s
global community.
• Provide state-of-the-art science and computer labs to
support our goal of providing STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, Math) education.
• A continued emphasis on literacy
– Reading
– Academic and creative writing across all content areas.
What is Title I
• Federal Funded K-12 program
– No Child Left Behind Law of 2001
• Provides additional academic support and
learning opportunities for students
• Help ensure that all students meet state
academic standards
• El Rincon is a Title I Schoolwide Program
– Funds used to upgrade the entire educational
program in a Title I school

• Increase academic achievement
• Provide direct instructional
support to students.

for teachers.
• Promote parent education and
