• Attendance – 5 days each quarter are allowed. If you miss a 6th day
of school you immediately fail for the quarter. School excused
absences are in your handbook

• 25 point system, attendance is huge, academic GPA,
course sequence (are you on track?) WE DON’T DECIDE
WHO GETS IN AT THE JVS
• You are competing against all Lorain County High
Schools, except Lorain
• The JVS representative will be here November 20 & 21
• January 28 is the field trip for sophomores who want to
visit. There is a limited number of space – field trip
permission forms must be in by December 12
• Application is online and will be available in January

PSAT SCORES
• Scores will be distributed and explained on
January 8 at 6 pm here at the high school.
• If you do not attend, you will not receive
scores until February and you will need to
make an individual appointment with your
counselor for score explanations.
