UNDAC Coordination – OSOCC (On-Site Operations Coordination Center)
Provide a interface for national authorities to coordinate
international assistance on site (Urban SAR teams, Clusters,
International NGOs, Agencies)
Facilitate information exchange between international and
national relief actors (update lists, prepare reports, arrange
meetings)
Provide a platform for operations planning of
international relief on site, especially USAR phase
Establish sub-OSOCC and Reception Centre for international
urban SAR teams and to facilitate logistics support in cooperation
with national authorities.

UNDAC support to clusters approach
• Support the establishment of Humanitarian Country Team
• Support inter-cluster coordination at all levels where required in
lieu of OCHA
• Ensure mechanisms are established for RC/HC and Country team
to provide direction to clusters
• Support participation of Govt and all relevant partners in Clusters
or linkages with concerned Government entities
• Ensure coordination in areas not covered by clusters, e.g. USAR

on site of a disaster,
• Improve information sharing among clusters and with other

• Facilitate joint assessments missions including cluster

response strategies.
