CEO and Co-founder Jim Grapek (BS, MPS). After receiving his master’s from the Cornell
School of Hotel Administration and spending eight years in the hospitality industry, Jim became an
award-winning filmmaker, investigative reporter, and producer, with a focus on programs about
health and healing. In addition, he brings to The Pavilion thirty years of personal fitness training
complete with two Black Belts in Asian martial arts.
Medical Director and Co-founder Dr. Mark Wiley (PhD, OMD), is a published author, speaker,
internationally acclaimed instructor (Black Belt - Filipino martial arts), and a doctor of Chinese and
Natural Medicine.
General Counsel, Bob Kalik, (JD) runs a successful DC law firm and has helmed several biotech and technology startups.
Dr. Mark McClure (DDS, IMDD), The Pavilion’s Integrative Medical Advisor, is co-founder of Nat’l
Integrated Health Associates, a 10,000 patient integrative practice in Washington DC.
Jim Turner, Medical and Device Legal Counsel, a principal in Swankin-Turner, represents
businesses as well as individuals and consumer groups in a wide variety of regulatory matters
concerning food, drug, health, environmental and product-safety matters. He has appeared before
every major consumer regulatory agency, including the Food and Drug Administration,
Environmental Protection Agency, Consumer Product Safety Commission and Federal Trade
Commission
John Atwood, Bobby Verdun of Boston-based Atwood Group are The Pavilion’s health club
and spa advisors.
