CEO and Co-founder Jim Grapek BS, MPS After receiving a master’s from Cornell’s School of
Hotel Administration and spending eight years in the service industry, Jim became an awardwinning filmmaker, investigative reporter, and producer focusing on programs about health and
healing. In addition, Jim brings to The Pavilion thirty years of fitness and ‘mind-body’ training,
earning two Black Belts along the way.
Medical Director and Co-Founder Dr. Mark Wiley, PhD, OMD, is a published author, speaker,
internationally acclaimed instructor (Black Belt - Filipino martial arts), and a doctor of Chinese and
Natural Medicine.
General Counsel, Bob Kalik, JD, runs a successful DC law firm and has helmed several bio-tech
and technology startups.
Medical Related Legal Counsel, Jim Turner, JD Jim, a principal in Swankin-Turner, represents
businesses as well as individuals and consumer groups in a wide variety of regulatory matters
concerning food, drug, health, environmental and product-safety matters. He has appeared before
every major consumer regulatory agency, including the Food and Drug Administration,
Environmental Protection Agency, Consumer Product Safety Commission and Federal Trade
Commission.

Integrative Medical Advisor, Dr. Mark McClure, DDS, IMDD Dr. McClure is co-founder of
Nat’l Integrated Health Associates, a 10,000 patient integrative practice in Washington DC.
Before that, Mark taught holistic medicine and biological dentistry at the National Capitol
Integrative University, and founded Denti-Care, an dental insurance company in the
Washington, DC region.
Development and Finance Advisor, Johanna Raso, MBA Ms. Raso, author, lecturer, and
former Vice President of Real Estate at Price Waterhouse Coopers, understands the role of
banking, finance, valuation and investment; She knows how to strengthen capital availability
and build sustained economic growth on an international basis. At age 33, Ms. Raso
became Vice President of Montreal Trust and the firm’s highest ranking female executive at
the time. She was responsible for product development and emerging markets, and for
developing national underwriting criteria. During her tenure there – through the early 1990’s
recession – there were no defaulting loans within the $375 million ($Can) portfolio she
managed. Ms. Raso has both Canadian and EU citizenships and is frequently working on
US projects, as well.
John Atwood, Bobby Verdun of Boston-based Atwood Group are The Pavilion’s health
club and spa advisors.
