APPR regulations are being revised to reflect
recommendations of the Regents Task Force on
Teacher and Principal Effectiveness.


Solicit feedback from the field and revise
Regulation changes

Amendments to Commissioner Regulations to
eliminate the:

Second Language Proficiency Examination (SLP);

Regents comprehensive examinations in Hebrew,
Latin and German;
–
Grades five and eight Social Studies assessments.
