The MAGLEV Train Alternative will provide a solution to the congestion and expense of travel, revolutionizing transportation of the 21st century.

MAGLEV transportation will provide anyone and everyone with a new, reliable and fast means of travel. It will transform inter- and intra- city transport.

MAGLEV Trains will take ground transportation to new heights with respect to speed, capable of up to 500kph.

MAGLEV Trains make use of electromagnetic propulsion, lessening the need for fossil fuels.

HOW ELECTROMAGNETIC SUSPENSION (EMS) WORKS

Magnetic Suspension / Levitation

Superconducting induction coils are attached to the undercarriage and guide-way

Levitation is based on attractive force between electromagnets on the undercarriage and guide-way stator packs.

ower is supplied by both primary generators and a limited backup battery.

Propulsion is achieved using a linear motor that alternates current in the cable windings to push and pull the train along

Linear Motor Principle: Alternating Field pulls and pushes vehicle forward

ELECTROMAGNETIC SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Stable levitation is achieved using height sensors and a microcontroller. The microcontroller communicates with the operator and/or base station.

The Microcontroller and peripherals would be located in a secure protective housing. Shielding from EM field radiation protects the electronics inside.

Inside the Casing the various peripheral modules connect to the Microcontroller which controls operation of the feedback and communications system

CONCLUSION

The problem: Increasing population, pollution, congestion and travel expense. These problems require fast, energy efficient, environmentally friendly inter and intra city transport sysytems.
