expenditures affecting election
campaigns are fully and truthfully
disclosed to the public, so that voters
may be better informed.

have increased dramatically and the
public has a right to know the individuals
and groups that finance campaigns.

Deadline: File within 10 days of receiving or spending $1,000. Once
a measure letter has been assigned, amend to include in name.

Prior to the semi-annual period in which
the measure supported or opposed is
being voted on, ballot measure
committees file quarterly and semiannual campaign statements. For
example, a committee that qualifies in
January will file its first statement
covering January – March on April 30th.
