Logging On
• Visit www.lawfirmservices.co.uk
• LFS will supply you with an email address and password to sign in
Home
• Once logged on you can view 3 areas:
• Quote
• Transactions
• Reports
Quote
•Click instruct to send Select Sale, Purchase (or Re-Mortgage)
• Select Freehold or Leasehold
• Enter in property value
• Click search
•clients details to law firm
• Click quote for a more detailed estimate
Quote
• The quote will display the estate agent admin services & legal fees

This is a NO COMPLETION NO LEGAL FEE estimate
The client would still have to pay search fees if the case was abortive
Disbursements have been taken as averages and CANNOT be localised
This can be emailed to the client (top of screen)
This is designed as a SALES AID for you to ‘sell’ YOUR legal service to the client
Instruct
• EVERY case needs to be
instructed via LFS
• There are only 5 mandatory
fields to complete
• Make sure you capture the
clients email address and
promote YOUR online legal
services.
• ensure the remote access
security questions are
completed
• You need to select whether
the sale or purchase has been
agreed
• Vendors should be signed
up when they register their
property on the market
• Also ensure that you sell
your service so both the sale
and purchase is registered on
the system
All Transactions
• All live transactions will be listed on LFS
• Note – if the client has an email address that means that they are registered with the case
tracking service and are being emailed each time an update is made to their case
•Click view on the left hand side to see case progress
•To view unacknowledged, completed, or deleted cases change the status filter to not defined
Search Fields
• Search by client name
• Filter cases by Law Firm
• Filter cases by Work Type
• Filter cases by Milestone Stage
Milestone Plan
• Clicking view will load up further case details
• Target dates are set on a 10 week conveyancing cycle pre-set by LFS
• Overdue cases will appear in red
• Clients CANNOT see target dates
Notes
• Notes should be updated every 5 days (as a guideline)
• A note is always added with the date that it was created
• It is very important to ensure solicitors keep their notes updated as this is the main source of
information to both you and the client
• If notes are kept up to date you wont need to call the solicitor and more importantly – the
client wont need to call you!

• The info tab will display:
• law firm details
• branch agent details
• clients details
Client Tracking
•
To provide client tracking facilities go to Customer
Settings.

Verify Password
•
Prompt to remember password

Date of Birth or use the example provided

Flags
• Cases can be flagged according to your requirements
• It is good to ‘flag’ a case if you have sent an email to the law firm to chase them for an update
for example
• You can then filter out all red flags in your all transactions list
Law Firm Email
• The column towards the right hand side will display law firm details
• You can email a fee earner by clicking on their name
• This will load up an email and automatically type full case details into the subject box
• For each email you send you should NOT receive a reply but instead a NOTE should be added by the
law firm WITHIN 24 hours (subject to weekends)
• Emails could become your main source of sales chasing depending on how you use it!
Reports
• Reports are an excellent
management tool for sales
chasing
• These have been designed
to report on all information
captured through LFS
• To name but a few you can
monitor:
• Overdue Cases
• Flagged Cases
• Cases awaiting
exchange
•Cases which have
completed
• Full transactions
