Dr David McGowan, Internal Medicine
resident at the University Hospital of the West
Indies (UHWI), has completed one month
(Jan 2005) at UAB and has started a twomonth preceptorship at Les Centres
GHESKIO.

CHART NTCs from Bahamas, Barbados, and
Haiti met with CDC-GAP Caribbean liaison in
Miami to attend the American Foundation for AIDS
Research (AMFAR) annual conference.
June 2003 to November 2004

7 members of the CHART Staff; 2 persons from
the UWI HARP Coordinating Unit attended a
combined total of 12 training courses
