LINCOS integrates a group of applications with the final goal of stimulating the creative capacity of individuals.

Transformed in educative tools, these technologies aim to foster the learning process of communities in rural areas in developing countries.

HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

Telemedicine: portable suitcase containing varied equipment such as, electrocardiograph, stethoscope, and high-resolution video camera to scan images from the throat, skin and others. •Water Analysis: kit that allows analysis of water examples for human consumption and irrigation. •Soil Analysis: kit to obtain general elements about the mineral composition of the soil.

All these services with the support of a bibliographic data base, related Internet web sites, audio and video cassettes, and multimedia materials

VIDEOCONFERENCE AND ENTERTAINING SERVICES

For the communities to have access to educational and recreational elements for a healthier and more pleasant life. • produce and broadcast their own videos and programs • videoconference (from interactive teleconference to educational videos).

COMMUNICATIONS/TELEPHONY

LINCOS can provide telephonic services through microwaves, IP voice, and WLL technologies with a coverage range from 3 to 5 miles from the Community Centers.
