The $4.16 million designated for new
construction enabled the North Lamar
High School to meet the new ‘4x4’
curriculum requirements by adding
additional science and computer labs.
NLISD maintenance crew, directed by
Tommy Funderburg, moved the fiber optic cable.
Our technology team, directed by Glenda Parson,
got the connections back up and working. These two teams saved
the district some construction costs.
Construction equipment moved on sight
11/09/09. Prior to this start date the canopy
from the high school to the special
education building was removed and the
grounds surrounding the site were
prepared for the construction.
