About the Questionnaire… First implemented in December of 2008. A Voluntary Student Exit Questionnaire How able were/are you to … Graduating seniors are asked 18 questions designed to measure their self-perceptions of learning gains. Response categories: 1 (not at all), 2 (a little), 3 (somewhat), 4 (very), 5 (extremely) Learning Outcomes questions were implemented in 2010-11 and developed with assistance from the UW Survey Center. When Entering At Graduation Learn on your Apply skills and knowledge of your Communicate in a language own chosen major(s) other than English 5 Find, organize, and evaluate Appreciate the arts such as information from multiple literature, music, and fine arts 4 sources Understand cultures Draw conclusions after and societies outside 3 weighing evidence, facts, of the United States and ideas 2 Develop a personal Contribute to the code of ethics and welfare of others values 1 Empathize with others Understand culture based on culture, and society within ethnicity, disability, or the United States sexual orientation Speak effectively Write effectively Meets reporting requirements for the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA)/College Portrait, and (potentially) federal reporting requirements. Questionnaire is delivered to graduating seniors via e-mail in December and May of each year.
