Latitude Lines



Lines of latitude are called parallels.
They run east and west.
The equator is at 0 degrees latitude.
“The Flat Lines are the Lat Lines”
Longitude Lines



Lines of longitude are called meridians.
They run north and south.
The Prime Meridian is at 0 degrees
longitude.
