THE CHALLENGE OF VOTER REGISTRATION
Every election year, millions of Americans miss the opportunity to vote
simply because of missed registration deadlines or other voter registration
problems. In 2012, a group of organizations came together to change that–
and a holiday was born.
NVRD: 2012 AND 2013 SUCCESSES
NVRD was a massive
success in 2012 in 2013,
engaging thousands of
citizens, volunteers and
organizations:
• 350,000 + voter registrations!
• 2,154 participating
organizations from all 50
states
• 14,380 volunteers
• 809 NVRD events in 2013
2014 GOALS
• Register 350,000
people
• Engage 2,000 partners
• Reframe the
conversation about
voter participation
Goals
WHY NVRD SUCCEEDS

interested voters with
