Services Offered
• Outpatient Clinical Services crisis and therapeutic
interventions provided by 43 community mental health centers directly
operated by the state or local governmental entities.
• Community Support Services that are provided through
community contract agencies.
• Acute Inpatient Care provided by units in 4 LSU-HCSD
Hospitals and units in 3 State Psychiatric Hospitals.
• Psychiatric Inpatient Care provided by 5 State Psychiatric
Hospitals that include care for forensically involved individuals.

Cornerstone Model: Develops Recovery and Resiliency, Utilization
Management, Performance Improvement, and Credentialing with the
OMH system of care
Disaster Recovery and Preparedness: Prepare state, regional,
and hospital disaster recovery and emergency preparedness plans
ensuring maximum interagency collaboration.
Permanent Supportive Housing: (PSH) Housing vouchers with
$5,000 of support per year for special populations including those
with Mental Illness
