Good health is better than the best medicine.

«You have a sound mind in a sound body» as the old Latin saying goes.

The English proverb «Sickness in the body brings sickness to the mind» expresses a similar idea but from different point of view.

All kinds of physical exercises are very useful to make our bodies strong and to keep ourselves fit and healthy. In the morning we should do some exercises just to awake. It puts us into the fine moods. «Good health is better than wealth», you know. It’s true, we should say.

Nowdays people are always searching for more ways of keeping fit and healthy. And most excellent way of this is running. Men and women of all ages have now taken up running. Apart from running, the exercise might be swimming, singles tennis or squash, digging or chopping wood. Whatever it is, the exercise should leave you out of breath. There is a small risk of unaccustomed stress causing a heart attack when a person is very unfit, but this can be reduced if exercise is always increased in easy stages.

SPORTS IN GREAT BRITAiN.

The most popular team game in Britain is Football . It is played in most of the schools. But for most of the public, football is a professionals games which is watched on Saturday afternoons at the stadium. Professional football is big business. Every large town has one or more professional clubs. Ragby football is played with an oval ball which may be carried. The players in the other team try to stop the man running with the ball by frown him to the ground. There are fifteen players in each team. Sports competition get big crowds in Great Britain. All people in Great Britain are fond of sport and Englishman know is they train hard Sport will make them strong and healthy.

So, to keep fit you should to do sport. It is easy, isn't it? All of this in your hands, just try and do it!
