Who will be affected?
New F1s starting in August 2010 F2s who choose to migrate to the new e portfolio F2s can choose to continue using the current e-portfolio
E-portfolio from August 2010 Core content, security and functionality specified – the format of the changes determined by NES and HORUS.
5 sections: 1. Clinical and professional development 2. Meetings and reviews 3. Assessments 4. Reflective reports 5. Sign-off
Clinical/professional development Allows foundation doctors to plan their learning throughout the year 3 professional development plans: 1. Curriculum outcomes 2. Procedures outcomes 3. Other outcomes (research, teaching, leadership etc) Can link evidence from other areas of e portfolio e.g. assessments
