• Bulit as an amphitheatre
(used for gladiatorial contests,
animal hunts, executions, reenactments of famous battles,
and dramas based on classical
mythology).
• One of Rome’s most popular
tourist attraction.
• Has close connections with
the Roman Catholic Church.

• 5th largest Jesus statue
in the world.
• 130 ft tall
• Cost $250,000 which is
equivalent to $3,068,097
(now)
• A symbol of Peace.
Chichen Itza
• Located in Yucatán,
Mexico
• A pre-Columbian city
bulit by the Mayans.
• One of the largest
Mayan city.
• Believe to be founded as
early as 600 CE.
• Mexico’s second most
visited archaeological site.
